I love my kids, Hazy & George (aka, Bert and Duke) and I love being a mom. I also love my job; I’m an Copywriter/Associate Creative Director at PJA Advertising & Marketing and it’s a pleasure to get paid to use my imagination.
But this is Hazy’s first summer off of school and George is finally old enough to “do stuff”, and it felt like the perfect time to spend the summer with them. You know that whole thing, “they’re growing up too fast!”? Well they are, and I want to spend a whole summer with them while they’re still willing to hold my hand and still think my jokes are funny. One Summer At Home 
We had a blast doing Alphabet Summer – we tried new things (It was shameful that my children had never been to the Kennedy Center – “K” day, or had quahogs – “Q” day. And we did some fun summer stuff: Ice cream, Frozen yogurt…!). This summer we are doing “2, 4, 6, 8, this Summer is Really Great!” – and trying new things on the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th of July and August.
